    How long does it take to build a Newcastle Home?

    Typically, we spend three months (90-120 days) building your home, but of course, weather is a factor. If you select a home plan and a building site to create a Newcastle home, we'll keep you updated often so you can plan all the details of your move.

    How do I purchase a Newcastle home?

    Once you've selected a home or a plan and home site, you will sign a purchase agreement and write a check for earnest money, which is refundable should you not be able to complete the purchase due to financing.  Our Realtor will be available to answer any questions during the time we're finalizing your home and preparing to complete the sale.

    Who should I talk to about getting a mortgage?

    What types of things can I select for my new home?

    Depending on how far along we are in the building process, you may be able to select interior and exterior paint colors, carpet and floor colors, cabinet and counter-top finishes and even light fixture colors.

    How is a walk-through handled prior to closing?

    Our closing coordinator will contact you to set up a walk-thru. Our superintendent will walk the house with you seven days prior to closing to go through an orientation and write down any items that need to be resolved. Stephanie will then schedule a final walk-thru the day of closing to sign off that all items are complete.

     

    If I have a problem after I move into my new home, what do I do?

    You can email us at warranty@newcastle-homes.com or fax us at 205-426-2107, whichever is easier for you.  We take great pride in responding quickly to any customer request, usually within 24 hours.  We also provide all of our own warranty service, so the same person who built your home will also oversee any service request you have.
