We are looking for a Customer Care Specialist!

The Customer Care Specialist is an integral part of our team, responsible for managing and overseeing homes under warranty in assigned communities. The ideal candidate for this role would be an energetic and friendly personality with experience providing administrative support and customer service to clients and internal staff. Also responsible for promoting, facilitating, and fostering positive working relationships with customers and coordinating and supervising the work of Newcastle Homes trade partners.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Regularly exercise sound judgment and discretion when working with homeowners and trade partners
  • Manage daily trade partner activities in accordance with job schedules and business partner scopes of work as they relate to customer relations
  • Proactively remedy any trade partner scheduling and communication
  • Ability to understand manufacturer recommendations for use and application of their products
  • Manage Eliant software and surveys for monthly, yearly and rolling trends
  • Establish and monitor Homeowner Orientations (HO) and Pre-Close walk documents
  • Manage & organize HO walk information for tracking purposes
  • Manage, supervise, and direct all aspects of customer relations
  • Analyze data and information to create charts, presentations, and trends for positive customer care improvement

Skills & Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 yrs. experience in directing, coordinating, and supervising work, particularly in a customer-facing role with a homebuilder
  • Valid Driver's License with good driving record
  • Valid auto insurance coverage
  • Advanced knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and document management\
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Computer literacy and proficient in MS Office products (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent follow-up, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills
  • Well organized with multi-tasking abilities
  • Team player with the ability to work under pressure
